- Dissociation technique – choose one or two that work well for you
- Special Place – listen to the Special Place track (track #1) on your Birthing Zone CD several times a week, at least until you get skilled at creating this place whenever you want to
- Practice Deepening techniques
- Pay special attention to becoming skilled at the Sensory Gate Control Valve technique
- The Comfort Management track (track #2) on your Birthing Zone CD gives you practice creating glove anesthesia
- Listen to the Fear Release track (track #3) on your Birthing Zone CD as often as necessary to support you in letting go of your fears prior to giving birth
- Begin Perineal Massage 6-8 weeks before your baby’s guess date
- Review the Birthing Preferences handout
